One Shot Project  '23

FOOD PAIRING

Prawn and zucchini risotto, lemon tagliolini with scampi, pasta with smoked salmon and cream...The barrique influence (buttery and toasty notes) pairs beautifully with creamy textures, while Malvasia’s aromatic freshness keeps the dish balanced.

Semi-aged or hard cheeses with a touch of sweetness or nuttiness. For example some aged Pecorino, 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano, or mild blue cheeses. The vanilla, hazelnut, and toasted nuances of the wine match well with the savory and umami notes of mature cheeses.

The ONE SHOT project

comes from our will to always create something new, something different, showing our best ideas and the best side projects that we are able to come up with every new harvest.

All of it without having to worry about numbers or markets, just having fun in the process, knowing that every year we are creating something unique.

Even the labels will always be different, in fact, following the same line of thought, we decided to rely on a different artist for every yearly collection.

Vintage 2023:

This year we experimented with our grapes of MALVASIA, fermented and aged in a mix of brand new French and American oak barriques for 14 month.

Warm, full-bodied, and enveloping. The initial sweetness is balanced by a pleasant freshness and a fine, lingering structure. The oak maturation adds softness, with flavors of vanilla, hazelnut, and light toasty nuances blending harmoniously with the wine’s aromatic richness.

Elegant and complex, with notes of ripe tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), candied citrus, and dried apricots. The barrique aging contributes layers of vanilla, toasted almonds, honey, and delicate hints of spice and sweet wood. A faint touch of smoke and caramel rounds out the bouquet.

This year we chose a photos made by my grandfather, Alberto di Lenardo, while he had the hobbie of photography for all of his life, it was only later, after his departure that some of his works got noticed and started to get exposed.

If you want to see some more of his amazing photos i suggest you to go directly on his website !!
